Project made for CPPGD in May 2021. An arcade shooter in which the player can copy enemy bullet patterns. Developed in Godot version 3.3. 


Instructions: Build up your Copy Meter, then shoot a Copy Bullet at an enemy to mimic its abilities! Each enemy has a different ability, but also a different penalty to your charge requirement.

Charger Enemies: Piercing shots, +5 recharge

Chaser Enemies: Faster movement, +10 recharge

Shooter Enemies: Rapid fire, +20 recharge

Bomb Enemies: Wide beam, +25 recharge

To help you out, some enemies drop Extends that boost your life count by 1, or Recharges that boost your Copy Charge by 10. Additionally, killing 100 enemies will also increase your life count by 1.

Try to last all six waves, then hold out for as many loops as you can! Also, if you manage to collect all abilities and fill up your Copy Meter, something interesting will happen...


Controls: Any controller should work, Xbox layout listed for brevity.

Movement: Arrow Keys (KB), D-Pad / LStick (Xbox)

Shoot: Z / Spacebar (KB), A (Xbox)

Copy Bullet: X / B (KB), B / RB (Xbox)

Focus (slow mode): Shift (KB), X / LB (Xbox)

Pause: Escape (KB), Start (Xbox)

Fullscreen: F11, Alt+Enter (KB), Back (Xbox)

Install instructions

The game can be played in the browser. Binaries for Windows, macOS, and Linux/BSD are also available; recommended to reduce input lag.

Source code is available here. Feature updates can be tested on jordan-branch.
